Function and Classification of High Temperature Resistant Tape

Ⅰ. The role of high temperature resistant tape

1. High temperature resistant tape is mainly suitable for metal surface treatment of computer cases, cabinets, etc.,;

2. It is also suitable for shielding protection and insulation during high-temperature spraying of electronic products, automotive industry, coating and other products;

3. High temperature resistant tape has a certain effect on the fixing of printed circuit boards, electronic parts, resistors and capacitors during the production and the shielding of the gold fingers during the PCB board impregnation process and preventing the immersion and pollution of the electroplating solution. It has a certain effect on the gold-plated shielding protection of the printed circuit board;

Ⅱ. Types and uses of high temperature resistant tape

1. High temperature resistant masking tape

It can be mainly used for the shielding protection of sealing, baking paint, spraying paint, packaging and fixing, construction decoration and other industries as well as plastics, metal parts and other high-temperature baking paint spraying, such as high temperature masking tape for powder coating.

2. High temperature teflon tape

High temperature teflon tape can be widely used in packaging, thermoplastic, composite, sealing and heat sealing, electronic and electrical industries. If it is fabric-reinforced, it will have higher strength and can be used in sizing machine drums, thermoplastic demoulding and other industries.

3. Polyimide high temperature tape

Polyimide high temperature tape is widely used for solder protection, high temperature insulation and bundling of transformer coils; capacitor insulation material, high temperature spray protection of gold fingers on PCB board, and mobile phone lithium battery manufacturing and bundling. Polyimide high temperature tape is made of polyimide film as the base material and coated with high temperature resistant silica gel. It has super high temperature resistance and is used to protect gold fingers during reflow soldering.

4. PET high temperature tape 

It can be mainly used for various purposes such as shielding protection and insulation during high temperature spraying of electronic products, automobile industry, coating and other products, leaving no residual glue after being made. At the same time, it can also be used to fix printed circuit boards, electronic parts, resistors and capacitors during production, as well as household appliances, machinery, electronics and other industries that require high-temperature paint protection and high-temperature binding and fixing.
